How to connect BMO InvestorLine
Connection method: Sign in through SnapTrade. Follow the steps below to add the account.

Choose BMO InvestorLine in Wealthfolio Connect and open SnapTrade's secure connection window.

Review the terms and check that the browser is on SnapTrade's website.

Follow the hosted sign-in prompts for your BMO InvestorLine account and complete any verification requested.

Finish the connection, return to Wealthfolio, and review the supported holdings and balances.
Your account stays under your control
Read-only access
The connection can retrieve account data. It cannot place trades or move money.
Your sign-in
SnapTrade encrypts the BMO InvestorLine sign-in details it stores to keep the connection working. Wealthfolio never receives or stores them.
Your Wealthfolio data
Supported account data is passed to Wealthfolio on your device. Wealthfolio does not persistently store your holdings, balances, or activities on its servers.
Good to know about this connection
- BMO InvestorLine connections sync holdings and balances, but not past transactions. Use Holding Snapshots to track positions and cash over time. If you want a full transaction history, you can also import or enter past activity.
- Supported positions are stocks and ETFs. Other investments can be tracked manually in Wealthfolio.
If activity history is limited, you can still use Wealthfolio's Holding Snapshots mode to follow positions, cash, allocation, and net worth. Complete Transactions supports deeper activity-based analysis when sufficient history is available.

Which BMO InvestorLine accounts can I include?
Eligible trading, RRSP, and TFSA accounts are supported. Review the accounts returned after connecting.
Will my BMO trades and dividends appear automatically?
No. Transaction data is not available through this connection. Use Holding Snapshots or import the activity needed for transaction-based analysis.
Will BMO mutual funds, bonds, or GICs sync?
The supported position types are stocks and ETFs. Add other investments manually if you want to include them in your portfolio and net worth.
